১৫ বছরের ঈশান জীবনকে ভালোবাসে। সে কানাডায় থাকে। সে কথা বলে না। একটি লেটারবোর্ডে বা কি বোর্ডে অক্ষরের পর অক্ষর সাজিয়ে পৃথিবীর সঙ্গে ভাব বিনিময় চলে তার। তার আছে দেখবার দুটি অসামান্য চোখ আর এক আকাশ ছড়িয়ে থাকা শক্তিমান মন। লেটারবোর্ডে অক্ষর সাজিয়ে সাজিয়ে সে এই দুটি অসামান্য কবিতা লিখে পাঠিয়েছে জয়ঢাককে। আমরা জয়ঢাকের পাতায় তাকে সঙ্গী হিসেবে পেয়ে গর্বিত। সঙ্গে তার লেখা কবিতাদুটো ও তার বাংলা ভাষান্তর রইল।
15 Year old Ishaan Holloway from Canada loves life. He does not use speech to communicate with the world. He talks to the world by slowly typing letter by letter on a keyboard. He loves life. He has two mighty eyes to take in the beauty of the world and a powerful , romantic mind to convert his feelings into beautiful poems.

মহান হিমালয়
কঠিন পাথরে গড়া দেহ
দেখে তুমি বলবে সুন্দর, ভারী সুন্দর
তবুও, বড়ো ভঙ্গুর সে।
মানুষেরই জন্য তোমার রূপকে বাঁচিয়ে রাখতে
ভবিষ্যতের মানুষকে তোমার স্পর্শ দিতে

The tears fall very prominently,
The tears leave an auspicious mark,
The tears form rare precious beads,
Beads that have healing power like no other.
The magic of the beads unfolds,
The wearer is mesmerised,
The magnificent beads bring calmness and serenity,
Such is the power of Rudra and his Akash.

রুদ্রাক্ষ আমার
(মেঘালয়ের কাল-মহাদেব মন্দিরের প্রেরণায়)

অশ্রুজলের বিন্দুগুলি ঝরে
অশ্রুজলের ছাপ রেখে যায় তারা
অ-সুখ-হরা অমূল্য বীজগুলি
এ অশ্রুজল ক্ষরণ করে তারা
স্বর্গতরুর মহান বীজের জাদু
অঙ্গে নিলে মোহন মোহের প্রকাশ
শান্তি পাবে শান্তি পাবে মনে
শান্তি দেবে রুদ্র এবং আকাশ
